Air Testing can be both an expensive and technical business - BUT now you can do some simple tests in your own home at reasonable prices. We have helped many people some with ill health to confirm a problem or eliminate a problem within their homes.
Here we offer you the chance to check out the levels of various parameters depending on your concerns. Mould, Bacteria and Gases can all tested in the air within your home. We have simple easy to use kits to help check that your home is in good health particularly if you suffer from allergies or conditions like asthma.

Mould Testing in Air - Mould is a growth on the surface of organic matter caused by fungi, especially in the presence of dampness or decaying matter. Yeast are minute, fermenting fungi that produces gas. Mould, yeast and fungi can cause allergic reactions such as a runny nose, sore throat, watery eyes, sneezing, coughing and upper respiratory discomfort. It can also lead to skin irritation in some individuals. Severely allergic individuals can have trouble breathing. Prolonged exposure can include symptoms of dizziness, lethargy, fever, digestive problems and flu like symptoms. We provide a kit that includes a petri dish containing specific media to check for mould in the air. Full instructions are provided.
Bacteria Testing in Air - Bacteria is all around us, but high levels of bacteria in the air can give an indication of poor cleaniliness within a property. Perhaps the carpets need deep cleaning. Bacteria may also be present in some air conditioning machines or ducted air systems. Testing for bacteria can give an indication of the cleanliness of a system.We provide a kit that includes a petri dish containing specific media to check for mould in the air. Full instructions are provided.
Fungi on Surfaces - We can also provide a surface contact plate that can be used to test for mould levels on surfaces. These tests are more technical. You will be sent a swab plate with instructions on use. You will then need to return the plate to our laboratory for analysis.
Bacteria on Surfaces - We can also provide a surface contact plate that can be used to test for bacteria levels on surfaces. Perhaps you are concerned about some surfaces within your property or want to check that cleaning methods and chemicals are working correctly. These tests are more technical. You will be sent a swab plate with instructions on use. You will then need to return the plate to our laboratory for analysis.
Gas Checks in Air - We can provide simple to use Dosi Tubes to test for a variety of gases. These come with full instructions and details of the safe levels.
CarbonDioxide: Carbon Dioxide is breathed out by everyone in your property, but do you have enough air coming
in to balance the level out. Measurement of this gas is used to look at the levels of "fresh" air within a building.
Carbon Monoxide: Carbon Monoxide is a potentially life threatening gas. Carbon Monoxide can be produced by malfunctioning fuel-burning appliances such as furnaces, ranges, water heaters and gas room heaters; engine-powered equipment such as portable generators; fireplaces; and charcoal that is burned in homes and other enclosed areas.
Nitrogen Dioxide: The most important sources of NO2 are motor vehicles. Butane gas heaters and stoves are also sources. In households gas heaters can also be sources of nitrogen dioxide.
Bacteria Testing in Water - We can supply dipslides to enable you to get an indication of bacterial level in water. Ideal to check taps, water tanks or even systems like spa baths or swimming pools. WE NOW can offer full laboratory bacteria, coliform and E. coli sampling.
